Prior to having ventured out on his own to establish ASL, Appolos served as a Senior Legal Officer at the Office of the Government Attorney (Civil Litigation) where he was mainly tasked with appearing in the High Court on behalf of the various Namibian Government Ministries and institutions on a variety of legal matters. Appolos started his legal career in 2012 and has also served in the private sector, where he consulted in diverse areas of law.
In 2017, Appolos attended the highly acclaimed Holland & Knight lawyer trainee programme in Orlando, Florida, USA. At Holland & Knight, Appolos was mentored by a senior partner and renowned lawyer, Mr. Stephen W. Snively. Through his legal engagements in the corporate and public sector space, Appolos has been exposed to judicial systems in South Africa, India, China and the USA, after having visited the said countries through various legal exchanges and conferences.
Appolos focuses and serves clients in the areas of Green Energy Law, Mining Law, TTM Law (Technology, Media and Telecommunications), Sports Law, Procurement Law and Corporate & Commercial Law. Appolos acts for several successful Namibian businessman and entities as well as several international businesses from countries like China, Brazil and the United Kingdom.
Other notable achievements:
- Elected at the Law Society of Namibia Annual General Meeting as a Council member for two terms (2018 – 2021).
- Appointed as one of the Judges for the Namibia Sports Awards by the Namibia Sport Commission for three terms (2016 to date).
- Served on the Namibian Music Awards Steering Committee (2011 – 2012).

- 2022 – Master of Laws: Information Technology Law from University of South Africa
- 2015 – Admission as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia
- 2012 – Bachelor of Laws Honours Degree from University of Namibia
